• 1.0.0 is ready.
• Documentation big focus lately.
• Going through extended product approval at the moment.
• Last meeting with the steering committee later today.

2021 Roadmap

• Finish product approval.
• Increase adoption by supporting implementations and working with more driver projects.
• Engage community to use the standard and provide feedback.
• Semantic mapping and tools.
• Add support for ontologies in queries.
• Federation and scalability improvements.
• Enhance documentation for adopters.

Networks Updates

• Service Registry and Service Info specifications in maintenance mode.
• GA4GH Service Registry actively developed. Continue to publish web services on the registry
• TASC curating Service Info standards identifiers.
• Documentation improvements.

2021 Roadmap

• Continue maintaining the standards.
• Release Service Registry v1.1 with support for write operations.
• Continue supporting networks of services for other standards.
• Involve service registries in FASP demos.
• Add support for authorization info in Service Info, validate with pilots.

SchemaBlocks Updates

• "the thing everybody talks about"
• … but not many active contributions over the last year
• offering now dedicated repositories for "donor" projects ("sb-phenopackets"...)
• usage demonstration in Search, but no stable schema "$ref" dependencies (?)
• more "need based" use cases from e.g. inconsistent use of documentation-defined schemas (PXF)

2021 Roadmap

• re-instate core group w/ regular meetings, contributions
• technical setup
• develop "poster cases" (plural) as demonstrators for practical {s}[b] utilization
• Search schemas
• PXF "blocks"
• integrate w/ GA4GH standards governance
