Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. - 1 Cor. 3:18
You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! - 1 Cor. 4:8
And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you. - 1 Cor. 5:2

Children Of God Can Be Cast Off
For I proclaim the name of the Lord: Ascribe greatness to our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. - Deut. 32:3-4,
...And scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation. - Deut. 32:15,
Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful,
And have forgotten the God who fathered you. - Duet. 32:18.

Many Israelites Were Overthrown In The Wilderness
God Overthrew Many Israelites
The Five Sins Israel Was Guilt Of
The Sins of Israel
[4]Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? [5]We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; [6]but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”… [13]Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’… [33]But while the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, the wrath of the Lord was aroused against the people, and the Lord struck the people with a very great plague. - Num. 11:4-33
The Sins of Israel
And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!” - Ex. 32:4-5
The Sins of Israel
Now Israel remained in Acacia Grove, and the people began to commit harlotry with the women of Moab. They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.... And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand. - Num. 25:1-2; 9
The Sins of Israel
And the people spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.” so the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died. - Num. 21:5-6
The Sins of Israel
[3]They gathered together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much upon yourselves, for all the congregation is holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?”…[23]So the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, [24]“Speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Get away from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.’ ”…[31]Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, [32]and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. - Num.16:3; 23; 31; 32.
Consequences Of Unbelief And Belief
Numbers. 14:22-24
because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.
But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. - Num. 14:22-24.
