Ms. Goldstein

I have worked as a classroom teacher K-12 (in traditional public, private, and charter schools), curriculum designer, Writer’s Workshop presenter, WASC Coordinator, homeschooling consultant, mindfulness mentor, project manager, camp creator, and tutor for adults and children. I love spending time with my family (two-legged and four-legged), flying with my favorite pilot, and spending time in nature.

I am looking forward to further developing the ELD program, teaching dual enrollment, and supporting the class of 2028 as an Advisory teacher.

What to Expect this Semester

What is Advisory?

Advisory provides students with a consistent space to build relationships, receive support, and grow throughout their high school journey. Each student is connected with the same Advisory teacher and peer group from 9th through 12th grade. The Advisory teacher plays a key role in guiding and supporting students’ academic, social-emotional, and post-secondary development.

Advisory provides space for:

  • Fostering connection through community support and relationship-building
  • Exploring identity and developing social-emotional competencies
  • Engaging in 4-year planning and preparing for college, career, and life beyond high school
  • Receiving academic guidance to strengthen skills and manage coursework effectively
