THE GAME OF NO RETURN

Board Setup: Each player has 16 pieces: 1 Elemental King(Asantewa), 1 Elemental Queen(Ga), 2 Fire Knights(Dagomba), 2 Water Bishops(Ewes), 2 Earth Rooks(Nzema), 2 Air Pawns(Akans), and 6 Standard Pawns( Fante).

Objective: The objective of the game is to checkmate the opponent's Elemental King, rendering it unable to escape capture on the next move.

Piece Abilities:

Akan: Moves one square in any direction. Cannot move into check.

Ga: Combines the powers of all elemental pieces, moving like a Dagomba, Ewes, Nzema, or Adamgbe.

Dagomba: Moves in an "L" shape, like a traditional knight, and can jump over other pieces. Additionally, it can "burn" a piece it lands on, removing it from play.

Ewes: Moves diagonally any number of squares but can also "flood" a diagonal line, blocking all pieces on that line for one turn.

Nzema: Moves horizontally or vertically any number of squares and can "fortify" a square, preventing any piece from entering it for one turn.

Adambge: Moves forward one square but can move two squares forward on its first move. Can capture diagonally, and once it reaches the opposite side, it promotes to any elemental piece.

Fante: Moves like a traditional pawn, advancing one square forward with an initial option of moving two squares. Captures diagonally and promotes upon reaching the opposite side.

Special Moves:

Elemental Castling: Similar to castling in chess, the Elemental King and either an Earth Rook can swap places if neither piece has moved, and no pieces are between them, provided the King is not in check.

Elemental Swap: Once per game, players can swap the positions of two of their elemental pieces.

Winning the Game: The game is won by checkmating the opponent's Elemental King. Stalemate results in a draw, as does insufficient material to checkmate.

Time Control: Players can agree on a time control for the game.
