TISA Data Files

  • A folder for each monthly estimate can found in TN Share that contains one pdf and one Excel file.
  • The pdf file contains a letter to the Director of Schools with TISA totals and explanation of any relevant business rules to call to a district’s attention.
  • The Excel file contains multiple tabs featuring district totals, school level data, and student level data used to calculate the various funding categories of TISA.
  • TISA estimates are provided from February – May with the final data pull and reports provided in June. Data is not ‘locked’ until the final pull in June.

TISA Data Files (cont’d)

  • Files for charter schools are also provided for districts that have them.
  • Special files are being provided for ELL counts to help reconcile SIS/EIS and TN Pulse Data.
  • There must be a finalized ILP (ELL) or ILP-D (Characteristics of Dyslexia) in TN Pulse to be counted for funding in their TISA related categories. This year, an exception is ELL students who withdrew prior to having an ILP created in TN Pulse.
