Single system for multiple service provider and resource allocators

LUMI EuroHPC supercomputer consortium (10 countries) is the first use case, but we plan to expand

Resource Allocation Portals for LUMI

• Puhuri Portals dedicated per LUMI Country and a shared portal. Developed and operated by University of Tartu
• National portal (at the moment Swedish SUPR and Estonian) are integrated to Puhuri Core, but more to come
• Discussing PRACE peer review portal integration for the LUMI EuroHPC JU project allocation

2021 highlights

• Migration to production environments

• Connecting Puhuri Core with LUMI EuroHPC supercomputer
• First LUMI pilots started 20.10.2021
• Accounting information is sent from LUMI to the Portals via Puhuri Core

• Writing guides for Puhuri Core integrations, Resource Allocator and user support teams

• Planning of Puhuri 2
• Work how to add other resources than LUMI
• Methods for managing users who do not have an identity provider connected to MyAccessID.
• Discussion of Level of Assurance attributes with the identity providers to ensure that the users are vetted properly
• Improvements for Puhuri Core and Puhuri Portal.
• Supporting national portals to integrate to Puhuri
