Tips to increase your chance of getting in

  1. Go with what you love
  2. Look up every professor that has cool research to you
  3. Get to know the professor
    1. They can be your professor in chem, Bio class that you like their research
    2. If they are not the one you see regularly email them!!! Set up a time
    3. Find out who works in their lab and get to know them
    4. They can be very good sources of information for you
  4. Start your application early
  5. Ask the professor or upperclassman to how to improve your application
  6. Prepare your application professional

  • Do not follow any rule
  • Be as genuine as you can and that is what is beautiful
  • Provide cohesive information about an story
  • Make sure to provide information about the story and correlate that with your

Letter of Recommendation

  • Ask the professor beforehand
