Why does God’s Creation matter to us?
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it”

We are commanded to love our neighbour
This is what we are already doing to creation
We are creating a climate and ecological crisis of cataclysmic proportions
And this
Carbon emissions continue to rise
We face numerous tipping points in the years to come which would lead to runaway climate change
Uninhabitable areas of the World at 4 degrees of global warming
Within our lifetime

We need to move from a world that is dependent on fossil fuels to a world where all can flourish as god intended

Direct Action is working
We’ve taken direct action over a couple of years now to encourage the Church of England to divest from fossil fuels.
In June 2023 - the Church of England Pensions Board and the Church Commissions did just that.
Praying together is at the heart of everything we do
