You Cannot Form a Word Without Vowels
Consonants give a word its structure — but the vowels let it be spoken.
Many people have the structure of Christianity — church attendance, Bible knowledge, the right words — yet something essential is still missing from how they actually live.
Ngayong araw, hindi lang natin aaralin ang A-E-I-O-U. Gagamitin natin ito para suriin: ano ba talaga ang bumubuo sa buhay ng isang Kristiyano?

When Life Tests Your Faith
It is easy to look faithful when everything is comfortable. But what happens when you are pressured, influenced, misunderstood, disappointed, confused?
Each of those moments has a letter. Five tests. One life.

What Pressure Reveals
Peter swore he would never fall away — bold words. But the night Jesus was arrested, under pressure, he denied even knowing Him. Three times.
His words said one thing; his actions revealed another. Kung ano ang nasa loob, lumalabas sa ilalim ng pressure.
Who are you when following Jesus becomes uncomfortable or costly?

Before pressure

Peter wept bitterly.
Repentance
Pressure did not create what was inside Peter — it exposed what still needed to be surrendered to God.

Matthew 7:17–20
Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit... by their fruit you will recognize them. The fruit is the action — not the words.

Jesus Restored Peter
Jesus did not define Peter by his worst moment. Three times Peter denied Him; three times Jesus asked, “Do you love Me?” (John 21:15–17).
Failure exposed Peter. Grace restored him. Christian action is not flawless performance — it is repentance and transformation.
The real question is not “have my actions failed?” but “what will I do after God meets me there?”

Your environment is always discipling you — teaching you what to desire, what to normalize, what to laugh at, and what to tolerate.

Even the Wisest Fell
Solomon was the wisest king of his generation. Yet through repeated compromise, political marriages, and accommodation of idolatry, his heart slowly turned his heart away from God (1 Kings 11:1–13). The same is true of the screen in your pocket: feed it what pulls you from God, and it will.

Man Sees the Face, God Sees the Heart
Samuel came to anoint a king. He saw Eliab — tall, impressive — and thought, surely this is the one. But God said no.
God chose David, the overlooked youngest son, still out with the sheep. Tao tumitingin sa panlabas; ang Diyos, sa puso. We judge others by their actions — God sees the intention behind them.
That person you have written off — what if God sees a heart you cannot?

The Lord does not look at the things people look at... Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

The Same Action, Different Hearts
Two people pray — one wants God, the other wants attention.
Two people give — one gives in love, the other wants recognition.
Two people serve — one serves God, the other wants control.
Same act. Different heart. Only God can tell them apart (Matthew 6).
If no one noticed, thanked, or rewarded you — would you still do it?

God Wants Both
God is not asking you to choose between right actions and a right heart. He wants obedience that flows from a surrendered heart.
Right action + wrong motive = performance
Good motive + wrong action = excuse
Right action + surrendered heart = worship

Everything Right, Still It Fell Apart
Joseph did nothing wrong. Sold by his own brothers, enslaved, then jailed for refusing to sin — the right choice cost him everything.
Yet every closed door positioned him to save nations from famine. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good” (Genesis 50:20).
Have you done everything right and still watched it fall apart?

Every stage looked disconnected while Joseph lived through it. Only later could he see that God had been working through the whole journey.
His suffering was not good — betrayal, slavery, and false accusation were evil. But human evil was never strong enough to cancel God's purpose.

When the Outcome Isn't What You Expected
God may be correcting your direction.
God may be protecting you from something unseen.
God may be developing your character.
God may be working through timing you cannot control.
You may not receive a full explanation in this life.
Not every “no” becomes a bigger “yes” — but every “no” is held by a God who is good.

Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. Practical principle: We are responsible for obedience; God is sovereign over the outcome.

“Even If He Does Not”
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego believed God could rescue them from the fire. But their faith did not depend on the outcome: “But even if He does not...” (Daniel 3:17–18).
Mature faith says, “God can.” Deeper faith says, “Even if He does not — He is still God.”

Understanding

What only God fully sees

Light and Shadow
However bright the room, there is still shadow beneath. So it is with our understanding — however clear, a shadow of uncertainty always remains. At times you cannot even explain yourself.
Job lost everything and demanded to know why. God never explained — He simply revealed Himself, and Job trusted what he could not understand.
Can you explain everything you do? Same — hindi rin.

Explanation or Revelation?
Job wanted an explanation for his suffering. God never gave him a point-by-point answer. Instead, God revealed His wisdom, His power, His presence.
Sometimes God answers the question. Sometimes God changes the one asking it.

A Christian life is revealed by our actions, shaped by our environment, examined through our intentions, surrendered in its outcomes, and sustained by trusting God beyond our understanding.

RESPONSE
Jesus at the Center
This is not a five-step program for self-improvement. We cannot transform our actions, environment, intentions, outcomes, and understanding by willpower alone.
We need Jesus to change the heart that all of it flows from.
Kapag hindi mo kontrolado ang kilos ng iba, ang kapaligiran, ang kinalabasan, o hindi mo maintindihan ang nangyayari — maisusuko mo pa rin ang iyong kalooban kay Cristo.
