Caption text is a simple text that used to give an information or explanation for a picture or an illustration. Caption usually appears bellow pictures, photos, graphics, posters, and even tables.

Language Features of Caption Text:

    • Use simple present tense: verb 1 (verbal) and is, am, are (nominal)

e.g. Erin Laurie is student at oxford university

    • Use past tense
    • Do not begin with the word/article a, an, or the.
    • Use direct speech or quoted speech: berupa kutipan langsung dari ucapan seseorang yang ditandai dengan quotation mark (“)
