CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.MD.A.1 - Solve problems involving measurement and estimation.�Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.MD.B.4 - Represent and interpret data.�Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units— whole numbers, halves, or quarters.

Calculate your totals and see if the trip was successful!

You will take the bus to the zoo - it costs $550.00 for the class
You can only go on a Tuesday
Your starting location will be our school

The latest you can return to school is 3:30 pm
You must visit at least (2) locations
Lunch will cost $5.00 / student
Lunch will be in picnic area from 12:00pm -12:30pm
Assume you will spend at least 5 minutes at each exhibit.
You can spend no more than $1,300 on this trip (for all students)
Money left over can be used to buy souvenirs.
