What sort of advice will I receive?
Multiple Power only provides selections when there are two or more on any given day. Emails are sent at around 10:45am.
We advise betting these selections not as singles, but as multiples.
There are two reasons for betting like this:
1) to compound the value of the selections, and
2) to “disguise” yourself as a “mug punter” - you know, the kind the bookies love to encourage!
What sort of “multiples” should be bet?
When there are two selections, we bet them as a double
Three selections? Place a Trixie - that’s all 3 possible doubles and the treble
Four? Place a Yankee - 6 doubles, 4 trebles and the 4-fold
Five? Place a Super Yankee - 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 4-folds and the 5-fold
When there are more than five selections, we advise splitting them into two separate bets in order to prevent the stakes getting out of hand, so ....
Six selections - 2 Trixies, seven - a Trixie and a Yankee, and 8 - 2 Yankees
What about Lucky 15s and Lucky 31s?
A Lucky 15 is a Yankee but with the addition of the four singles
A Lucky 31 is a Super Yankee with the addition of the five singles
Most bookies offer bonuses with this type of bet. So if only one of your selections wins you would get a 2x or 3x the odds “consolation” bonus. If each of your selections win you would get a 15% or 20% “full house” bonus.
If you can secure the bonuses, then it’s definitely worthwhile placing this type of bet. If not, we advise sticking to the Yankees and Super Yankees.
