SEER is a Singaporean post-shoegaze band formed in 2022. The group consists of vocalist and guitarist Trevor Wee, vocalist and guitarist Regina Hum and drummer Marc Monteiro. SEER melds dreamy atmospheres and electronic textures with the intensity of metalcore, creating their own brand of shoegaze. Introspection and reflection are at the core of the band’s lyrics, enhanced by wall-of-sound instrumentation. SEER actively avoids categorisation, effortlessly moving between textures and sounds. The band draws inspiration from a diverse range of influences, ranging from metal bands such as Deftones, Northlane & Loathe to shoegaze giants Slowdive and Holy Fawn. The band are currently working on their debut EP.
Playing their debut show in 2023 at Happy New Ear by Rabak Records, SEER has opened for Shye, Nosedive, Uranophobia, Days of Television, Thy Howler and more.
