  • Avoid eating food which are stale.
  • All food should be kept covered and in a clean place.
  • Eat your food slowly.
  • Always drink clean water.
  • Do not waste food.
  • Eat fresh fruits and fresh vegetables.

  • ENERGY GIVING FOOD:
  • The food that gives us energy to work and play is energy giving food. Carbohydrate and Fats give us energy.
  • We get carbohydrate from cereals like wheat, rice, maize, jawar, bazra etc.
  • We also get it from sugar, potatoes etc. We get fats from milk,

butter, oil, ghee etc.

  • Body building food contains proteins.
  • We get proteins from pulses, meat, eggs and fish.
