Did Apollo 11 really land on the moon?
By Curtis and Bryce
Apollo 11
Apollo 11 is the first shuttle carrying human life to the moon. the first people to go to the moon where Neil A. Armstrong , Michael Collins, Edwin E.”Buzz” Aldrin, jr. the launch date was on july 16,1969. Nasa was the program running this. When they landed on the moon they took footage on it. In the footage some things just did not add up. so people started to believe that the whole thing was a hoax.

Reasons why it might be Fake
Fake
The “C” on the rock- There was a C on the rock for a picture NASA said it was either a hair, a bad quality photo, or a practical joke by one of the astronauts. Most theorists say it was a prop that was supposed to be flipped.
Fake
Lack of stars- There are no clouds on the moon so you should be able to clearly see the stars. The argument here is that NASA would have found it impossible to map out the exact locations of all stars for the hoax without being rumbled, and therefore left them out – intentionally falling back on an excuse that the quality of the photographs.
You can tell apollo 11 was fake because...
There were only 2 people that ever stepped on the moon yet they are both in a photo together then who took the picture? The cameras were mounted to the astronauts' chests, said astronomer Phil Plait.
Reasons why it might be true
The Flag
When the flag was placed on the moon it waves but there is no wind on the moon. this happens because of the vibration of the pole, the pole is made out of aluminium so it continues to vibrate after the astronauts let go of it.
No flame
when the rocket take off from the moon there is no flame. The rockets in the landing module are powered by a combination of hydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide, which makes the invisible.
The lack of stars
A point that is shown is that their are a lack of stars in the pictures. the reason for that is the apollo landing took place during a lunar morning, with the sun shining on the moon. the stars are not bright enough in this light to be captured in the pictures.
The creator and the step
When Apollo 11 hit the moon it left no imprint but when neil armstrong took the first step he left a footprint. On the moon it has a layer of dust on the outer surface of the moon. So when the came down from the pod to the moon it blasted the dust away leaving them with solid moon rock, so Neil was stepping on dust leaving the imprint.
