Independent Electrical Contractors Apprenticeship

The IEC electrical training apprenticeship program lets you earn while you learn and obtain a national certification by the US Dept. of Labor as an electrician. The program allows you to fast-track your career to a high paying electrician that is high demand.

Masonry Training Program

The Masonry Association of Georgia trains students to lay brick and block to the line and exposes them to different types of masonry units. New semesters begin in August and January of each year.

Mechanical Trades Institute

The Mechanical Trades Institute trains apprentices to be Pipefitters, Plumbers, and welders and tuition is free for all students. Your education at the MTI-72 Training Center will set you on the path to a lucrative career. Some of their graduates own their contracting businesses while others are Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendents, and even Consultants.

The HOPE Career Grant is a state funded award for students enrolled in a Commission approved, designated diploma or certificate program of study who meets all eligibility requirements for the HOPE Grant and is receiving a HOPE Grant award for a term is also eligible for a HOPE Career Grant award for that term. HOPE Career Grant awards are based on the student’s program of study and the number of hours of enrollment.
