Can A Computer Apocalypse happen?

How have Computers evolved?
Originally, Computers used to be very basic! A long time ago, computers were human people. The “computers” had a job to solve hard math problems like a computer may do on a paper. You might have heard of this job through Hidden Figures if you have seen the movie or read the book.

who had a job as a “computer.”
How have Computers Evolved?
One of the first real computers was called the ENIAC machine. It was created in 1943 by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania. The computer now would probably be highly impractical as it required a lot of people to operate it. However, back then, it was like magic.

How have computers evolved?
Home Computers back then were different. They had a much boxier shape, and it was said that only rich people could afford a home computer. The home computer had only a few games on it that was basically just text that told you what was happening in a fantasy world.

How have computers evolved?
To summarize, we have went from using people to work as “computers”. We have made huge computers that required many people to work it. We have created a home computer that was hard to afford and had a box shape. And now, our computers are much more easier to use. Computers really have evolved.
In a few years, could computers take over the world?
It is possible. If you look back to a very long time ago, computers were human beings. Then, computers were big and heavy and required a ton of assistance. And so on. Countless new technologies are being developed every single day, it wouldn’t be that surprising if computers were so evolved over the years that they could take over the world.
In a few years, could computers take over the world?
Like I said earlier, it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise. A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) is already taking over some human jobs already. Robots can do things much quicker than humans, and people just think that it makes sense to have robots do these jobs to be efficient. However, robots haven’t really taken over the medical industry, because people think that surgeries should only be done by DOCTORS.
In a few years, could computers take over the world?
Yes, because humans are steadily becoming more and more reliant on technology. People need Google Maps to show them the way, they need phones to text and call their friends and so on. Humans really use computers a lot. The average human looks at their phone or computer for at least 3 hours a day.
In a few years, could computers take over the world?
This one’s a surprise. People are still debating over this issue. But another side to the argument is that computers can’t take over the world. The reason for this is that computers would need to have a mind of their own and plenty of information. Robots and computers don’t exactly have a mind of their own. Technically, they are still controlled by humans.
In a few years, could computers take over the world?
To summarize, yes and no. Many people are still debating whether that will happen, though. But A.I. and computers are growing at a very astonishing rate. Things are being developed every single day. Take face recognition for example. There are literally thousands of examples. So yes, it could happen. But for that, computers are robots would need to have a mind of their own which they don’t.
YET.
How are computers now?
Computers now are very practical. We are reliant on them and during Covid times, we have had to use more advanced technology to do our schoolwork. We use computers for many different things and computers have literally been adapted to our personal needs.
How are computers now?
Computers now can do the very most basic things for us and can also do very advanced things for us. The basics are things like google searching or opening a google doc or classroom. The advanced things are things like facial recognition and so on.
How are computers now?
We might look back at some point in the future and say “Wow.” Those computers were so impractical. Yet for us, these computers that we use now are very practical. They help us out. In your family, you probably have at least one computer or gadget. Computers are very easy to rely on.
How are computers now?
Computers now are much more smaller and smarter. They are quicker and more portable. They’re more reliant and can do more advanced things. Overall, computers now are in a pretty good position. Our technology world is definitely slowly advancing.
Summary.
To summarize everything, computers have really evolved. From human computers to the ENIAC machine computer to the home computer, they really have. Like really.
Could computer apocalypse happen? Well, the country is still debating. Both sides have a lot of information.
Computers now are much more easy, practical, reliant.
So thank you so much for listening bye!
