Senior Survey and Email

  • In order to help you this year, we need some basic information from you.
  • Complete the survey and schedule a Senior Year meeting with an advisor.
  • Remember to check your email constantly! Colleges and Universities will be communicating with you through email and you don’t want to miss anything!

What you need:

  • Student Social Security Card
  • Parent Social Security Card (if applicable)
  • Full Legal Name
  • Personal Email Address
  • Mobile Phone Number
  • Mailing Address

Why is the FSA ID important?

  • It serves as your legal signature
  • It is a username and password that gives you access to apply for the financial aid application (FAFSA)
  • Parents: You or your spouse will need an FSA ID if you have a dependent student. A dependent student will need to have one of his or her legal parents sign the student’s FAFSA form.
    • Parents also need an FSA ID to apply for a Direct PLUS Loan.

Dependent Student

  • A student is considered a dependent for federal student aid purposes until the age of 24 unless:
    • they are married
    • have dependents other than a spouse
    • are an orphan,
    • active duty member of the US Armed Forces
  • Even if your parent/guardian does not claim you in their taxes, they will still need to sign the FAFSA so students are eligible for aid.

Provide a unique username. �Provide a unique password.�

Provide your name, date of birth, and Social Security number.�

Provide your email and mailing address.�Provide your mobile phone number. �Select your language preference.�

For security purposes, complete the challenge questions and answers.�Make sure to pick questions where the answer won’t change over time.�

Verify your email address and/or mobile phone number. This verification allows you to retrieve your username or reset your password without answering your challenge questions.�

Reminders

  • The 21-22 FAFSA application opens on October 1st, 2020
  • Seniors will be applying for the Fall 21/ Spring 22 Semester.
  • Students will need to apply to the FAFSA every year that they are in school.
