Annual Parent Survey

A responsibility of the Littleton Academy Accountability Committee (LAAC) is to measure the quality and effectiveness of the school and its educational programs.
The LAAC conducted a survey to measure only parent satisfaction concerning the performance of Littleton Academy in 2018-2019 school year.
Survey results are presented to the Governing Board and recommendations provided.
Survey question responses are typically used in the Governing Board’s June evaluation of the Principal.

LAAC primarily focused on answers that were below 80% agree & strongly agree (“satisfaction rate”). We have also included the change from last year.
The initial survey was open from March 4 – April 1, 2019
213 respondents from 598 invitees (through Infinite Campus)

36% response rate (up from 27% last year)
47 questions, mostly in form of Strongly Agree / Agree / Neutral / Disagree / Strongly Disagree
Defined the “neutral” option this year.

We altered the Principal questions this year to state “Interim Principal” for clarity and will remove “Interim” for 2019-2020

No comments were used for the initial survey, but in the second survey, comments were used to determine a trend in the low positive response rate.
