iPad Carts FAQs

Can teachers place the carts outside of the designated room?

Yes. Yellow tapes has been placed outside the designated rooms to allow the teachers to quickly return the cart and proceed to their next lesson.

Should the students plug in the charging cables after returning the iPad?

During normal curriculum time, charging is not expected as we want to prioritize quick transition for the next class. However, if your class ends at 1:30 PM or is a supplementary session, it is greatly appreciated if the cables are plugged back in for next day use.
Note: Regardless of the time, it is essential that all iPads are returned to their assigned slots according to the numbers to ensure a smooth transition.

iPad Carts Tips

If you feel that the iPad cart is swerving when pushing the cart, you will need to lock both the back part of the wheels by pressing down the green colour stopper. (You only need to unlock these 2 wheels when you are positioning the carts)

✅ When pressing down, ensure that the cart and the wheels are facing straight.

❌Do not press the stopper when the wheels are facing other directions.

If it’s showing the binocular icon, it means the iPad screen is switched off.

	Tap to open available applications on all student’s iPad
	Tap to close all application on all the student’s iPad and bring them back to the home screen��If you use this while the student’s iPad screen is turned off, it will automatically turn on their screen. But do be aware that it will still close all active application.

Additional Info

Teachers may use the airdrop function in their Safari browser to immediately share a webpage with the students. This may apply to document files (PDF, word, etc.) also.

Go to the website that you want your students to access from your iPad
Tap on the arrow icon at the top right of the browser
Select Airdrop

Tap on the classroom group shown in the list
