  1. Made by Gareth Bell, 2025/2026 for my Year 9 classes as a quick easy starter.
  2. Starts out easy to get them engaged, finishes hard, for the advanced ones.
  3. Date top right auto updates in ppt. I asked my students to write the date in the top right of their book each day, just like I did.
  4. To jump to a slide, run the powerpoint (e.g. f5), then type the slide number in (e.g. 47), and then press enter. I write down in my diary what slide we’re up to.
  5. The Wero is the Challenge Question for experts.
  6. Every odd page is without answers for easy printing.

  1. Slides can be categorised into five sections, labelled A, B, C, D E in bottom corner. I tried to cover the whole syllabus loosely with these areas.
  2. Images either drawn in shapes (took me a while) or from the nounproject.com so not breaking copywrite.
  3. I think I adapted many of the challenge questions from past Auckland Mathex questions. Maybe Year 8 level.
  4. I think I adapted some of the word questions from 10 ticks.
  5. I am unable to sell this. Feel free to gift me a donut or something if you find it saves you hours of work.
  6. See more at GarethBell.com
