Holiday Promotions

Gift Cards are popular around this time of the year. One way to get more customers to buy gift cards is offer an incentive for buying them.

For Example:

  • Offer a gift card in return for the buyer. Let’s say they buy a $50 dollar gift card. In return they receive a $25 dollar gift card, etc.
  • Offer a coupon for the buyer. It can be 10% off your next meal or a free appetizer for instance. The coupon should have an expiration date in order to get customers in the doors during a certain time period.

  • From Spring to early fall, advertise Papa Tino’s fresh produce through all social media platforms. This will keep customers engaged by posting about the process of the plants all the way up to specials and menu items at all Gretalia Group restaurants.

After establishing more followers on the social media platforms, interact with the followers. Use them to gain more followers and grow the social media presence.

Provide incentives for the customer.

  • If they are dining in, offer 1 extra punch on their frequent buyer card if they “check-in” on Facebook
  • Every 10 “Check-Ins” at any Gretalia Hospitality Group Restaurants on 10 different days receive a $25 gift card
  • For takeout or dine-in, offer 5% off bill if they follow @GetForky on Instagram or Twitter

Hashtags on Social Media

  • Using #GetForky start a promotion on all three social media platforms. A suggestion would be to get customers engaged by taking pictures of their food and use this hashtag in their post. This would enter them into a contest in which the lucky winner would win a gift card to any of the Gretalia Group restaurants. The promotion could take place on Fridays and would be called, #ForkyFriday. This could also be used during the slower months to get people in the doors.

Gretalia Group Content Strategy Overview

  • Create original content to be posted on all social media platforms in order to gain interest from followers and gain new followers.
  • The type of content will be photos, videos and advertisements of upcoming events.
  • Post on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter at least twice a day, but no more than 3 times a day. Too much can be overwhelming to followers.
