Project Overview

Elevator Pitch

A roguelike set on a rigged 1990s push-your-luck style game show. Your goal is to cheat and bankrupt the network by winning an impossibly large amount of money. Exploit the tools that the game show provides to create insane (possibly even infinite) combos! They’re legally obliged to pay out ;)

Where are we?

We currently have a prototype of our core gameplay loop, made entirely with crappy programmer art.

Who are we?

We are currently a team of 3, covering programming, design, and audio. We are based in NYC. Our team has previously won a award for “Most Popular Game” in a large Chinese indie game competition.

Our Current Game In Action (no cohesive theme, made with Unity store assets)

(you can tell we aren’t artists lol)

Who are we Looking For?

Responsibilities Overview

  • Design a “game show” theme that matches the current gameplay.
  • Create 2D art assets:
    • Reusable UI assets.
    • A large quantity of card art (i.e. display for each card).
    • We will collaborate on UI/UX design.
  • Regular communication with the team.

Timeline

We are aiming to publish a Steam demo by May. We are open to negotiating any payment structure or revenue share based on fair industry standards.

AI-Generated/Edited: A representative “example vibe” for our game (the theme can be completely reskinned depending on your preferred artstyle!)
