One vaccination site in San Diego was told to only vaccinate people on standby who are eligible, & to turn away ineligible people, even if it meant throwing away unused vaccines. To what extent does faith in authority figures hinder or foster knowledge?

Almost everyone agrees society needs law & order. So we have elected officials to run our government. Many people also agree that local government knows what’s best for the local community so local control is preferred over federal government control. Yet, during this pandemic, president Trump left control in the hands of individual states to get PPEs & ventilators, conduct COVID testing & roll out vaccinations, it was mad chaos & he was criticized for not having federal oversight to give states guidance & help.

Then when he announced schools must reopen or lose funding, states went in uproar telling the federal government to not dictate how states should run their education. President Trump was criticized again.
