What is Hubbell and Hubbell?

“H&H is a small architectural firm working in many different building types & focused on sustainable/ green building techniques.”

Where is Hubbell and Hubbell located?

Located here in bankers hill just north of downtown at 1970 Sixth Ave.

My Mentor:

Drew Hubbell

• Every student will have a mentor for the duration of their internship.

• Founded H&H with his dad and is the main architect at the firm.

​

• Introduced to me to different architecture things like the Revit Sofware.

Project Overview

During internship my project was designing an apartment. I was tasked with creating concept plans for the said apartment on the software Revit. Throughout the project I struggled with working around the existing environment.

Next Steps

Internship fortified my goals of becoming an architect

This experience gave me a headstart of getting acquainted with the software. I was given a glimpse of work life.

Tips for Sophmores

• Get used to odd hours or days compared to what you’re used to.

​

• Find & confirm internship ASAP.

​

• Study where youre going before you decide.
