Add Loom as a chrome extension and soon you will be making screencasts that will record your screen, voice and face:)

To educators who have been using Loom...but please try it even if you are new to Loom.

  • Add Loom App from Self Service on your iOS iPad or iphone. You will be able to create screencasts that will record your screen and voice. It is not possible to also record your face.
  • Loom has helpful resources for new users. Here is the link to Loom’s iOS tips.
  • Go to Self Service on your

iPad and search for Loom

How to start recording using the Chrome Extension

  • Once Loom extension is added you can click on the icon. You will get some options:
  • Screen + Cam
  • Screen Only
  • Cam Only
  • Full Desktop or Current Tab
  • Microphone Audio

Screen and Cam Option...be careful your face doesn’t get in the way of information on your slides.

Recording a Google Slide

  • Be sure to start recording...then click on
  • Go through your slides and then click on the green check to stop recording
  • The video you just created will process and be in your video library. From here you can share or download your presentation.
