Good Deeds Foundation Annual Report

Fiscal Year (FY) 24 was a record setting year for your Good Deeds Foundation

$130,000 in grants supporting four groups:

    • Active Duty Military;
    • ROTC, JROTC and Other Youth Programs;
    • Vets and their Families in Distress; and
    • 501c3 Organizations that Support Vets in Brevard 

 

We Received Increased Donations from Major Donors and $24,000 from 2023 Golf Fundraiser. 

    • Major donors are now recognized with the GDF Special Partner Award. 
    • GDF President Donn Weaver will present one of those Awards today (Doug Bisset).  

 

We can all be proud of GDF which is unmatched in any other MOAA Chapter in the Country and which last year contributed more in non-scholarship grants than MOAA National.

Good Deeds Foundation FY25

The GDF FY runs from 1 Oct – 30 Sep

Our major annual fund raiser is the VyStar GDF Golf Tourney was on 16 Nov 24

  • The FY 25 Golf Tournament was another record breaker!
  • This years Golf Chair was Larry Jackson who did a great job and is very happy the event was a success and is over!! 

The FY 25 GDF Budget has been announced and projects yet another record setting year for your Good Deeds Foundation and could approach $180,000 !!!

Thanks to the GDF Board of Directors who do so much to leverage support from, and for, our community!!!
