    • Friends and family of students in Social Media & Contemporary Society
  • Tracked their sense of connectedness from using the app for 7 days
  • Sent survey out via email
    • Pre questionnaire
    • Post questionnaire
  • Likert scale

  1. On average, how much time do you think you spend on answering the question of the day?
  2. On average, how much time do you spend on the daily Haoha wall per day?
  3. I felt I was engaging with others on the app.
  4. I could relate to the other users responses.
  5. I felt connected to other users responses.

  • I felt a sense of inclusivity after reading the posts on the Daily Haloha Wall

Meaning of Results

  • Gender and race are not main reasons that affect how people feel after using the app
  • We were not able to see if devoting more time on app make users felt more connected/included
    • Can test this if we have opportunities later on
  • People overall felt more connected and included after using the app
  • People felt less isolated
    • But the results were kind of muturals
