• A reliable or credible source is where you can trust the information that the source provides.

What questions to ask to determine if a source is reliable?

• Is the author listed and are they an expert on the subject?
• Are there citations for sources used?
• Is the information up-to-date?
• Is the author being biased or unbiased?

Some examples of a reliable or credible source.

• Scholarly and peer-reviewed articles and books
• Magazine articles from well-established companies
• News sources with first-hand reporting
• Websites with .edu or .org domains
