Inclusion
•Inclusion in the classroom is meant to help those students needing help who generally have an IEP.
•This is done in a way where it is not apparent which students in the classroom need assistance.
•This is achieved by helping all the students in the class.
•Constantly collaborating with teachers on ways to implement engaging lessons or tweak lessons for students’ success and understanding of information.
• Our goal is to work as close as possible with you and your child to ensure growth academically and personally. To demonstrate growth as a student and person.
Interventions
•
Designed to help students who are struggling to improve a specific skill.
•Targeted instruction is given for a determined amount of time to help students focus on strategies to improve a skill.
•Use of evidence-based strategies, techniques, and programs.
•Programs: Response to Intervention (RtI), iReady, and multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS).
•Targeted Assessments are given periodically to measure the development and growth of a child.
•Data is collected to monitor and track growth and to determine students’ future instructional needs.
