Exit activity

Choose a partner.
Take 2-3 minutes to consider your answer to the inquiry prompt you have been assigned.
Take turns sharing your answer with your partner.

At the end of the lesson, have students revisit and share their answers to the inquiry prompts you posed at the beginning of class. Inquiry prompt examples:

Why is time management important?
How do you feel when you don’t have enough time to get something done? How do you feel when you get something done ahead of time?
Would you say you're good at planning your time? Explain.
What are some things you would do/goals you might accomplish if you had more time in your day?
Do you think the ways you spend your time will change as you get older? Why?

Classroom discussion strategy:

Think-pair-share: Direct students to choose a partner. Assign each pair one of the suggested Inquiry prompts and give them 2-3 minutes to consider their answers. Then have them turn to their partners and take turns sharing their answers.

Optional Think-pair-share-square: Once students have shared their answers with their partners, direct them to join up with another pair and take turns sharing their answers.
