What you will need: Lesson 39 letter pattern VCCV Saxon Phonics worksheet and a pencil

  • You will need to complete your worksheet as we go through the lesson in the video.

Reminders for your phonics and spelling test

  • Make sure you use correct letter formation and bump the correct lines

  • Use lowercase letters on your spelling test

  • Start your sentences with a capital letter

  • End your sentences with a punctuation mark

  • Make sure you have only one pinky space between your words.

  • You will need to complete your worksheet/test as we go through the test in the video.

  • Watch and listen to the spelling and dictation test here

  • You will need to complete your worksheet/test as we go through the test in the video.

  • Complete #1-12 by writing down the word that I say out loud in the video. Use lower case letters for your spelling words.

  • Complete the back side by writing down the words/sentences that you hear me read out loud in the video. Make sure your letters bump the correct lines! Sentences start with a capital and end with a period.

  • 1st 9 Weeks sight words - watch this video and practice. You can also find the list of sight words in your purple phonics folder. Practice words #1-25

  • Today is the end of the 9 weeks so you will also need to complete the sight word test on Seesaw. These are the sight words we have learned the 1st 9 weeks.

  • Turn your phonics assessment in on Seesaw, make sure you record yourself using the microphone for the problems that need to be read out loud.

  • Turn in your spelling and dictation test on Seesaw.
