PVAAS & SSO

  • We are gathering info from LEAs and exploring the feasibility with SAS EVAAS
  • We are a local control state with 700+ LEAs with 700+ slightly different ways of doing things, staffing technology supports, the tools used, etc.
  • SSO may be a technical option for some, but not all- we are in the exploration stage of gathering info to see if we can do a pilot
  • There is no plan to require LEAs to integrate PVAAS into their SSO solution.

We Need Your Help!

  • Next Step: Surveys to LEA technology contacts & LEA curriculum contacts to consider current landscape of SSO in PA LEAs
    • Platforms
    • Management
    • Access
  • Please share the survey to the curriculum contacts in the LEAs in your region
    • Also, if your IU has a Tech Director that can share with LEA Tech Directors, that would be great!
    • We’re aiming for a perspective representative of both the program and tech sides of the house

PVAAS Reporting using Local Assessments

  • PVAAS is a data analysis tool that runs on data from assessments.
  • We run PSSA & Keystone data through the modeling automatically.
  • The modeling works just as well for local assessments, too!
