دەسپیكیكی تازە

• Have you ever watched a small child, when he turns over to a new page of his writing book? The new page looks so clean and unspoiled, that he takes extra care, as he begins to write, that he doesn´t spoil it. He makes a fresh start.

​

• When we begin to understand how much Jesus has done for us, we shall want to "turn over a new leaf" and make a fresh start, too. We shall want to follow Him.

تا ئیستا زەردەخەنەی منداڵیكتان بینیووە كاتیك دەفتەرەكەی (لینووسەكەی) هەڵدەداتەوەو دەگات بە پەڕیكی سپی؟ پەرەی نوی زۆر سپی و نوی دیتە بەر چاو. وە ئەو تەواوی هەولی خۆیدەدا بۆ ئەوەی پەرە نوییەكە باشتر و پاكتر بپاریزی. ئەو دەسپیكیكی نوی ئەزموون دەكا.

A new start

ڕیگای خودا

• Before Jesus went into heaven he said to his disciples:

​

• "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, (or, make disciples of all nations) baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.“ (Matthew 28:19)

​

• Read these verses carefully. You will notice that when they made disciples, they were to baptise them. Baptism is the way God has chosen for us to make a new start.�
• When we obey this commandment, God forgives us our past sins.

لە مەتا بابی 28, ئایەتی 19 دەخوینینەوە كە عیسا بەر لەوەی بەرزبیتەوە بۆ ئاسمان, بە قوتابیەكانی خۆی گووت: "كەواتە برۆن و تەواوی نەتەوەكان بكەن بە قووتابی, وە ناوی ئەوان بە ئاو و ئیبن وە روحی پیرۆز بشۆن."

ئەم ئایەتانە بە ووردی بخویننەوە. لەوە تیدەگەن كە كاتیك ئەوان دەیانویست خەڵك بكەن بە قووتابی, ئەوانیان دەشووشت. شووشتن ریگایەكە كە خودا بۆ دەسپیكی تازەی ئیمە بەدی هیناوە.

كاتیك كە ئیمە گویرایەلی ئەم فەرمانە دەكەین, خودا لە تاوانەكانی پیشووی ئیمە دەبووری.

God’s way

ڕیگای خودا

• Jesus Himself, although He had done no sin, set us an example by being baptised.

​

• Read in Matthew, chapter 3, verses 13-17, how Jesus came to the River Jordan, and how His cousin John baptised Him there.When John the baptist said that he was unworthy to baptise Jesus, Jesus replied:

​

• “Allow it to be so now: for so it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness" (Matthew 3:15).

​

• Jesus did not say “fitting for me", he said “fitting for us", showing that we too must be baptised. It is essential for salvation.

ئەگەرچی عیسا هیچ تاوانیكی نەكردبوو, بە خۆشووشتنەوەی بوو بە قوودوە بۆ ئیمە. مەتا بابی 3 ئایەتی 13-17 بخویننەوە و ببینن كە چۆن عیسا داخلی رووباری ئەردەن بوو وە یحیای بشۆر ئەوی شۆرد.

ئایا سەرنجتان داووە كە كاتیك یەحیا بە عیسای گووت كە شاییستەی شۆردنی ئەو نیە, عیسا پیی گووت: " من بشۆ چوونكە بەو شیوەیە فەرمانی خودا بە جی دینین."

ئەو لەبارەی خۆی قسەی نەكرد, بەڵكو گووتی "ئیمە" حوكمی خودا جیبەجی دەكەین. ئەم قسەیە بە ئیمەی نیشاندا كە ئیمەش دەبی خۆمان بشۆین. ئەم كارە بۆ رزگاری ئیمە پیویستە.

God’s way

چوونە ناو ئاو

• Baptism means a complete burial under water. It is as though, when we go under the water, we die, and when we come out of the water again, we are ready to begin a new life. In a way, we die with Christ, and then we rise with Him.

​

• "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptised into Jesus Christ were baptised into His death? "Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.“ (Romans 6:3-4)

خۆشۆردن بە واتای چوونە ناو ئاو بە تەواوی دی. بە چوونە ناو ئاو بە تەواوی, ئیمە دەمرین. وە كاتیك كە دووبارە لە ناو ئاو دیینە دەر ئامادەین كە زیانیكی تازە دەست پی بكەین.

​

بە واتایەكیتر, ئیمە لە گەڵ مەسیح دەمرین وە دواتر لە گەڵ ئەو هەڵدەستینەوە. پۆلس لەو بارەیەوە لە رومیان پیمان دەڵی. باب 6 رومیان ئایەتی 3-4 بخویننەوە.

Burial in water

نەریتی پاككردنەوەی منالان

• Perhaps you have heard of babies being "baptised" or christened, when they are sprinkled with water on the forehead.

​

• But this is not really baptism. You remember Jesus said, "He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved" (Mark, chapter 16, verse 16). We must understand and believe first, and a baby cannot do this.

​

• And, of course, being sprinkled with water is not the same as being buried in it and coming up again out of the water. It cannot remind us in the same way of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

ئەگەری هەیە ئیوەش لە بارەی شۆردنی منالانی تازە لە دایكبوو هەندی شتتان بیستبی, بەو جۆرە كە ئاو یە رووخساریان هەڵدەپڕزینن وە ناویكیان بۆ دیاریدەكەن. بەلام ئەمە پاكردنەوەی راستەقینە نیە. لە بیرتانە كە عیسا گووتی: "كەسیك كە باوەر دەهینی وە پاك دەكریتەوە, رزگاری دەبی" (مرقس بابی 16, ئایەتی 16). بۆ پاكبوونەوە, سەرەتا دەبی لیی تیبگەین وە باوەر بینین, وە تازە لە دایكبوویەك ناتوانی ئەو كارە بكا.

كەسیك كە باوەری هیناوەو پاكبۆتەوە

• Notice in the reading in Acts, chapter 8, that the eunuch, a servant of the Queen of Ethiopia, said, "Here is water; what prevents me from being baptised?" (8:36).

​

• There was one condition. Philip said to him,"If you believe with all your heart, you may" (8:37).�
• Notice that "they went down both into the water" (8:38). ��That was necessary because Philip was going to baptise the eunuch by burying him completely under the water.

لە ئەعمال بابس 8 سەرجتانداوە كە ئەو كە خەزنەداری شازنی حەبەشە (ئەتیوپی) بوو, گووتی: "سەیر بكە, لیرەدا ئاو هەیە, چ شتیك بەربەستە لە بەردەم خۆپاكردنەوەی من"؟ (ئایەتی 36).

فیلیپس پیی گووت: " ئەگەر لە ناخی دڵەوە باوەر بهینی, هیچ بەربەستیك بوونی نیە".

(ئایەتی 37).

هەروەها بۆتان دەردەكەوی كە " ئەو و فلیپس (هەردووكیان) چوونە ناو ئاوەكە" (ئایەتی 38) ئەم كارە پیویست بوو چوونكە فلیپس دەیویست ئەو بە خستنە ناو ئاو بە تەواوەتی پاك بكاتەوە.

A man who believed and was baptised

ئەوان بڕوایان پێهەنا...

​

• Here is another very important passage about baptism: "But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptised, both men and women" (Acts 8:12).

​

• We learn from this quotation that people should not rush into baptism before they are ready. The men and women of Samaria were not baptised until "they believed...the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ."�

لیرەدا بابەتیكی زۆر گرنگ لە بارەی شووشتنەوە بوونی هەیە:"بەلام كاتیك بە موزدەی فلیپس لە بارەی پاشایەتی خودا وە ناوی عیسا مەسیح باوەریان هینا پیاو و زنەكان پاكبوونەوە"

(اعمال، باب 8، آیۀ 12).

لەم بابەتەوە وانەیەك فیر دەبین كە خەڵك نابی بەر لە ئامادەبوونی تەواوەتی, بۆ پاكبوونەوە پەلە بكەن. پیاوان و زنان تا ئەوكاتەی كە "لە بارەی پاشایەتی خودا و ناوی عیسا مەسیح باوەریان هینا" پاكنەبووبونەوە.

They believed…

بریاریكی گەورە

• Deciding to be baptised is the most important decision of a lifetime. It is not a decision to make lightly. Before baptism, it is necessary to understand, and believe, the true teaching of the Bible. After baptism, it is necessary to fight against temptation and try to obey God´s commandments always.
• �Without these things - belief of true Bible teaching first, and obedience to God afterwards - baptism is worthless.

بریاردان بۆ پاكبوونەوە, یەكیك لە گرنگترین بریارەكانی تەواوی زیانە. ئەم بریارە بە هۆی حەزەوە نیە. پیویستە بەر لە خۆ پاككردنەوە, راسپاردە راستەكانی پەرتووكی پیرۆز فیر بووبین, لییان تیبگەین و باوەرمان پی هینابن. لە دوای پاكبوونەوە, پیویستە لە گەڵ وەسوەیەكان شەر بكەین وە هەموو كات هەول بدەین كە گویرایەلی فەرمانەكانی خودا بین.

بە بی ئەمانە (باوەربوون بە راسپاردە درووستەكانی پەرتووكی پیرۆز, وە گویرایەلی فەرمانی خودا) پاكبوونەوەیەكی بی بایەخە.

A big decision

منداڵەكانی خودا

• We are born the children of Adam. But when we are baptised we are taken into the family of God, and we become the children of God. Every man and woman is a child of Adam, and the Bible speaks of them as being "in Adam".

​

• When we are baptised, we "put on Christ", and are spoken of as being "in Christ". Paul tells us in Galatians, chapter 3, verses 26-27, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. "For as many of you as have been baptised into Christ have put on Christ."�
• We have new hope of life, for we read in I Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 22, "As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

ئیمە مندالانی لە دایكبووی ئادەمین. بەلام كاتیك پاكبووینەوە, دەبین بە ئەندامیك لە بنەماڵەی خودا وە دەبین بە مندالی خودا. هەر پیاو و زنیك مندالی ئادەمن وە وە هەر بەو جۆرە كە پەرتووكی پیرۆز دەڵی, ئەوان " لە ئادەم" دان.

​

كاتیك ئیمە خۆ پاكدەكەینەوە, لە "هاوپەیمانی لە گەڵ مەسیح" داین وە بە واتایەك "لەناو مەسیح"دا دەبین. پۆلس لە غلاتیات, بابی3, 26-27 پیمان دەڵی: "چونكە ئیمان بووە هۆی ئەوەی كە هەمووتان لە هاوپەیمانی لە گەل عیسای مەسیح مندالانی خودابن. ئیوە كە لە هاوپەیمانی لە گەل مەسیح پاكبوونەوە, بوونە هاوبیری ئەو"

ئیمە هیوایەكی نویمان بۆ زیان هەیە, هەر بەو جۆرە كە لە سەرتای قرنتیان بابی 15 ئایەتی 22 دەخوینینەوە: " هەر بەو جۆرەی كە هەموو مرۆظەكان بە هۆی هاوپەیوەندی لە گەل ئادەم دەمرن, تەواوی ئەو كەسانەی كە لە گەل مەسیح هاوپەیمانن, زیندوو دەبنەوە."

Children of God

مەسیح, نیوەنجی ئیمە

• We make a fresh start at our baptism. But we cannot live without sinning. What happens if we sin, after we are baptised?

​

• Because we are "in Christ", we have Jesus Christ to be our mediator, and to pray to God for us - and, if we are really sorry we have sinned, we may be sure that God will hear Him, and forgive us our sins for His sake. The apostle John writes, "If any man sin, we have an advocate (or, a mediator) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (I John, chapter 2, verse 1).

ئیمە لە پاكبوونەوەدا, دەسپیكیكی نویمان هەیە. بەلام ناتوانین بی تاوان بزین. چ شتیك روودەدا ئەگەر لە دوای پاكبوونەوەمان تاوان بكەین؟

لەبەرئەوی ئیمە "لە ناو مەسیح"داین, عیسای مەسیح ناوبزس ئیمەیە وە ئەو بۆ ئیمە لە پیشگای خودا نزا دەكا. وە ئەگەر ئیمە بە راستی لەو تاوانە پەشیمان بینەوە كە كردوومانە, دەتوانین دلنیا بین كە خودا دەنگی ئەو دەبیستی وە لەبەر خاتری ئەو لە تاوانەكانی ئیمە خۆش دەبی. یوحەننا دەنووسی: " ئەی رۆڵەكانی من, ئەمەتان بۆ دەنووسم بۆ ئەوەی تاوان نەكەن. بەلام ئەگەر كەسیك لە تاوانیكەوە بگلیت, لە بارەگای خودای باوك كەسیكمان هەیە كە شەفاعەتمان بۆ بكا- هەمان عیسای مەسیح كە بە تەواوی چاكەكارە."
