Why?

There is no way to update question codes in bulk. Currently we need to update question codes one at a time. There is no way to assign question codes automatically. Copied question codes have random codes that don’t make any sense.

User Story

Julie, is a researcher and wants meaningful codes for questions which she can later identify when reporting and doing analysis. She wants different codes for each block which she has to update manually on workspace and becomes tedious on long surveys.

Functionality

Save as you go, we can update question codes manually with ease.

Ability to select certain questions and apply auto-update.

If I want all questions in Block 1 as B1, B2, B3, I can select these questions, I can enter prefix as B and add the starting number as 1 and it will auto-update all questions.
