Rotina de Pensamento Manchete de Jornal

1. Look at images of your city. What needs to change if we want our city to be smarter?
2. Think of a specific area of the city. Locate it on the map or on the created Cartesian plane.
3. Draw the location on large graph paper using the cardstock or the floor (using masking tape).
4. Choose a specific day of the week and time and signal whether they will think about a rainy or sunny day.
5. Use pieces of wood or paper to show what the location looks like during your chosen time and day.
6. Imagine that you are in this place. What's around you? Use your past experiences in this space to build the scene on the map.
7. Complete the sentences below to guide you:
8. We are in…. (name of neighborhood, area, park, etc.)
9. We can observe….
10. We feel…

1. Observe imagens da sua cidade. O que precisa mudar se quisermos que a nossa cidade seja mais “inteligente”?
2. Pense em uma área específica da cidade. A localize no mapa ou no plano cartesiano criado.
3. Desenhe a localização em um papel quadriculado grande usando a cartolina ou o chão (usando fita crepe).
4. Escolha um dia da semana e horário específico e sinalize se irão pensar sobre um dia chuvoso ou ensolarado.
5. Usem pedaços de madeira ou papel para mostrar como a localidade fica durante o horário e dia que escolheram.
6. Imaginem que estão neste lugar. O que está ao seu redor? Use suas experiências passadas neste espaço para construir a cena no mapa.

Often the same place can provoke different reactions in different people.

1. Use the Empathy worksheet to help you understand how the locations you investigated might be perceived by other people. Example: if we are observing a non paved street where people get stuck in traffic jams, how is this same space perceived by a father with a baby in his arms? And for an athlete?

​

1. Decide which sensors you would like to use in your project to make the observed location smarter. Moisture? to check dangerous levels of drought or rain? Air quality? to let people know when the best time to go out and play is? Sound? To warn of possible dangers?

​

1. Add the sensors (real or make believe)to the scenario you created.

Muitas vezes o mesmo local pode provocar diferentes reações em diferentes pessoas.

1. Use a Ficha da Empatia para te ajudar a perceber como as localidades que investigaram podem ser percebidas por outras pessoas. Exemplo: se estamos observando uma rua esburacada que pessoas ficam em engarrafamentos, como esse mesmo espaço é percebido por um pai com um bebê de colo? E por um atleta?

1. Decida quais sensores gostaria de usar no seu projeto para tornar o local observado mais inteligente. Umidade? para avisar sobre níveis perigosos de seca ou chuvas? Qualidade do ar? para avisar as pessoas qual o melhor momento de sair para brincar? Som? Para alertar sobre possíveis perigos? 3. Acrescente os sensores (reais ou imaginários) ao cenário criado.
