I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

4 你要作多國的父
4 You will be the father of many nations.
6 我必使你的後裔極其繁多；國度從你而立，君王從你而出。
6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you.
16 我必賜福給她｢撒拉｣ ，也要使你從她得一個兒子。我要賜福給她，她也要作多國之母；必有百姓的君王從她而出。 16 I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”
23正當那日，亞伯拉罕遵著神的命，給他的兒子以實瑪利和家裏的一切男子，無論是在家裏生的，是用銀子買的，都行了割禮。
23 On that very day Abraham took his son Ishmael and all those born in his household or bought with his money, every male in his household, and circumcised them, as God told him.

6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.7 He also said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”
創Gen15:8-18
8 亞伯蘭說、主耶和華阿、我怎能知道必得這地爲業呢。
8 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?”

16耶和華說你既行了這事、不留下你的兒子、就是你獨生的兒子、我便指著自己起誓說、
16 and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
17 論福、我必賜大福給你、論子孫、我必叫你的子孫多起來、如同天上的星、海邊的沙、你子孫必得著仇敵的城門。
17 I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,
18 幷且地上萬國都必因你的後裔得福、因爲你聽從了我的話．
18 and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”
加Gal3:
6-9
6正如『亞伯拉罕信神這就算爲他的義。』7 所以你們要知道那以信爲本的人、就是亞伯拉罕的子孫。
6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
8 幷且聖經既然豫先看明、神要叫外邦人因信稱義、就早已傳福音給亞伯拉罕、說、『萬國都必因你得福。』9 可見那以信爲本的人、和有信心的亞伯拉罕一同得福。
8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
加Gal3:
14-16
14這便叫亞伯拉罕的福、因基督耶穌可以臨到外邦人、使我們因信得著所應許的聖靈。15 弟兄們、我且照著人的常話說、雖然是人的文約、若已經立定了、就沒有能廢弃或加增的。
14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.15 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case.
16 所應許的原是向亞伯拉罕和他子孫說的．神幷不是說衆子孫、指著許多人、乃是說你那一個子孫、指著一個人、就是基督。
16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.

創Gen 12:
1-3
1 耶和華對亞伯蘭說、你要離開本地、本族、父家、往我所要指示你的地去。2 我必叫你成爲大國．我必賜福給你、叫你的名爲大、你也要叫別人得福．3 爲你祝福的、我必賜福與他、那咒詛你的、我必咒詛他、地上的萬族都要因你得福。
1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

1-5
1我且說、神弃絕了他的百姓麽．斷乎沒有．因爲我也是以色列人、亞伯拉罕的後裔、屬便雅憫支派的。2 神幷沒有弃絕他豫先所知道的百姓。你們豈不曉得經上論到以利亞是怎麽說的呢．他在神面前怎樣控告以色列人、說、
1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel:
3 『主阿、他們殺了你的先知、拆了你的祭壇、只剩下我一個人、他們還要尋索我的命。』4 神的回話是怎麽說的呢．他說、『我爲自己留下七千人、是未曾向巴力屈膝的。 』
3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”? 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
5 如今也是這樣、照著揀選的恩典還有所留的餘數。
5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

25-27
25 弟兄們、我不願意你們不知道這奧秘、（恐怕你們自以爲聰明）就是以色列人有幾分是硬心的、等到外邦人的數目添滿了． 26 于是以色列全家都要得救、如經上所記、『必有一位救主、從錫安出來、要消除雅各家的一切罪惡。』
25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 又說、『我除去他們罪的時候、這就是我與他們所立的約。』
27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

羅Rom11:
33-36
33深哉、神豐富的智慧和知識。他的判斷、何其難測、他的踪迹何其難尋、 34 誰知道主的心、誰作過他的謀士呢、 33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! 34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counsellor?”
35 誰是先給了他、使他後來償還呢。 36 因爲萬有都是本于他、倚靠他、歸于他．願榮耀歸給他、直到永遠。阿們。
35 “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” 36 For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
