Anna Takes a Walk

This is Anna. She lives on Pine Street

in a small city in the U.S.. She likes

walking. Today she will go for a walk.

First, she walks to the church on Elm Street. It is one block from her home. She attends that church on Sundays.

Next, she walks to the fire station beside the church. She sees the red fire truck and says hello to the firefighters.

Next, she walks to the school on the

corner of Market Street and State Street.�Her children attend that school. She sees students outside but she does not see her children.

Then she walks to the park across from the school. She sees a red bird in a tree at the park. She often goes to the playground with her children. She likes that park!

Next, she walks to the coffee shop on

Main Street. She buys a small cup of

coffee. She puts cream and sugar in it.

After she drinks her coffee, she goes

by the restaurant on Lake Street.

Now Anna is tired. She decides to go back home. She walks two blocks to Pine Street and then to her home. She is happy to be home because it was a long walk!
