Cell Phones

Cell phone are not allowed to be out or used in classrooms (including resource hour) unless a teacher/supervisor gives you permission
Cell phones are allowed in the hallways, lunch, and study hall

1st Offense: The device(s) stays with the teacher until the end of the class period. Teacher returns the phone at the end of the period. The referral created by teacher is sent home by Administration.
2nd Offense: Teacher delivers the confiscated device(s) to the main office and enters the incident in Skyward by the end of the day. Students can pick up device(s) at the end of the day from the main office. The referral is sent home by Administration. Administration may meet with the student and the student may receive a consequence.
3rd Offense: Teacher delivers the confiscated device(s) to the main office and enters the incident in Skyward. At this point, only a parent/guardian can pick up the phone at the end of the day. The referral is sent home by Administration, administration meets with the student, and the student receives a consequence.

We understand that your dress and appearance is a part of your personal style and individual preference. We will not interfere with the your right to make decisions regarding your appearance, except when your choices interfere with the educational program of the schools.

You may not go barefoot at any time. Hats, hair coverings, and other outer garments need to be stored in school lockers. Items of clothing of a suggestive nature are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, bandanas, bare midriffs, cleavage, and extremely short skirts and/or shorts. Undergarments should not be visible. Items of clothing with inappropriate or harassing language, including alcohol and drug related phrases, logos, or pictures are prohibited.

Teachers may address clothing concerns discreetly in your classroom, but if clothing needs to be changed and you don’t have additional items to change into, you will be asked to go to the office where clothing options will be made available to you. You can also call home asking a parent/guardian to bring a change of clothing.
