لاننا لا نجترئ ان نعد انفسنا بين قوم من الذين يمدحون انفسهم و لا ان نقابل انفسنا بهم بل هم اذ يقيسون انفسهم على انفسهم و يقابلون انفسهم بانفسهم لا يفهمون.

For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. (2Co 10 : 12)

لا تهمل كلام الشيوخ فانهم تعلموا من ابائهم (سيراخ 8 : 11)

اسمع عظة لنفسك مرتين أسبوعياً أو تفسير للكتاب المقدس
Listen to a sermon for yourself twice weekly or a Bible interpretation
ركز في السنكسار في كل قداس تصليه و خذ درساً لنفسك
Focus on the Synaxarion at every Liturgy you pray and take a lesson for yourself
تعلم و لو فضيلة واحدة من أب إعترافك
Learn at least one virtue from your father of confession
قاوم بشدة روح النقد و الإدانة
Strongly resist the spirit of criticism and condemnation
التقط آية (وصية / وعد) و انشغل بها كل أسبوع
Pick up a verse (Commandment/ Promise) and get busy with it every week
