Human Rights???
Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, simply because they are human.
Why do human rights matter?
Human rights are the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world. When human rights are respected and upheld, individuals can live with dignity and equality. However, when they are violated, it can lead to suffering, conflict, and injustice.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a key document adopted by the United Nations in 1948. It outlines fundamental rights and freedoms for all individuals, such as equality, liberty, education, and freedom of expression. The UDHR serves as a global guide for human rights principles, inspiring international treaties and national laws worldwide.
