Go to First Season Resources https://www.firstlegoleague.org/season#resources -> scroll down to Mission Models -> click the bag number that you are working on for building instructions for your model. Build the model. Store your model and all leftover pieces in the large numbered ziplock bag that your teacher provided.

  • Group1: Finish building the mission model fields
  • Group2: Continue coding your robots from last week. Make the car move in a square. (Some of you made other things, like the catapult - it’s OK if you keep working on that).

Ice Breaker

  1. Write one fun fact about yourself on a sheet of paper.
  2. Fold the paper into an airplane.
  3. On a count of three, throw the airplane!
  4. Pick up an airplane (try to not get your own).
  5. Read the fun fact to the group and all guess whose it is.

Group1 - New to Robotics: (The 10 students who worked on building the Mission Models for the mat last time)

First, Let's review what is Lego Spike Prime and what's in the Spike Prime box. What can you do with a Spike Prime? Examples: Hopper, Grabber for picking up things, Break Dancer, Car, Robot for a competition.
