LEGAL KEY PARTNERSHIP FOR HEALTH & JUSTICE | DIGITAL DIGEST

Legal Key (formerly MLPB) regularly updates its digital digest with essential information on housing laws, eviction rights, legal guidance, and other housing resources.

There are additional shelters that may include local churches like Emmanuel House and specific DV or LGBTQ+ spaces as well like those run by Blackstone Valley.

Some CHWs are currently working on partnerships to create more shelters! More coming soon!

COORDINATED ENTRY SYSTEM (CES)

Individuals and families experiencing homelessness will be prompted to contact CES

The agents conduct assessments and work to connect individuals with eligible resources such as shelter or permanent supportive housing programs.

Connections to resources are not guaranteed

RI Coalition to End Homelessness

  • Oversees housing placements through The Coordinate Entry System (CES) & manages the call center�
  • Holds multiple trainings around housing including how CES works�

The Improper Discharge Tracker is a survey that staff can fill out and will be used to track patterns of improper discharge from acute medical care to homelessness for advocacy purposes.
