Chrome
Make sure you’re taking the necessary steps to ensure all your personal information is removed from your ASD Chrome profile.
Use the ‘Hot Dogs’ in the upper right-hand corner to access your history and other settings.
Access your Chrome history from the settings and select ‘Clear browsing data’. Once in the Clear browsing data menu make sure you select ‘All time’ from the time range and then clear data.
From the main settings page select ‘Turn Off’ to remove all personal settings and history from your Chrome browser.
Google Drive
Several steps need to be taken to ensure any important files that need to remain w/ remaining colleagues stay active and files you would like to take with you are successfully transferred.
If you have certain files that colleagues still need access to you will need to transfer ownership over to them. This can only be done within our organization (aspenk12 to aspenk12 accounts). Simply go to the sharing settings for the file, and open up the drop down menu of someone who can already edit. You will have the option to make them the new owner.
Use Google Takeout to take all your Google Workspace and Chrome data with you. This video will walk you through all the steps. It may take 24 hours depending on the amount of data you are transferring. Here is a blog if you’d like to read more
You can specifically select folders, emails, Google Keep notes, etc when you walk through the takeout process. It's important to plan how much space you will need to transfer the files to (Personal Google Drive has very little free space and images and video take up a lot of space) so you might need to plan for this.
Google Classroom Clean Up

Archiving Classes: All classes should be archived at the end of the school year or before you leave the district. Archived classes will stop students from receiving any notifications from an old class.
