Please note that the income guidelines listed above are meant as a guide to assist families on their potential eligibility but other factors such as the student’s income and assets reported on the FAFSA may decrease the income eligibility amounts for the household size.

The maximum Pell grant award for the 2025-2026 academic year is $7,395 and the minimum Pell grant award is $740. Your household income would need to be at or below the amounts listed above, based on your family size and marital status, to be eligible for a Pell grant.

FDLP are loans only for the student with no credit check, the student qualifies regardless of the household income reported on the FAFSA and repayment begins 6 months after they graduate.

Checklist regarding private loans:

1. Who will apply for the loan (student with a co-signer or a parent)?

2. What type of payment structure do you want?

    • Option 1: Immediate repayment

In certain cases the Financial Aid Office can adjust the income used on the FAFSA to recalculate eligibility. This re-evaluation is done on a case-by-case basis and can vary by institution. Some acceptable conditions are:
