This is a collaborative activity that requires a group of 3-5 people.
Find a group before continuing.

With your group try to guess what’s in the box.
You may pick up the box, you may shake it, etc. but you CANNOT open it. Each group gets one guess!

For part 1 of the activity you will create a one slide visual of your life. You can include whatever you want. The only words should be your name.

Once you have chosen your pictures (as many as will fit on the slide), create your slide in the appropriate presentation. Go to SLIDE & then NEW SLIDE to add a new slide to the presentation. DO NOT mess with any slide but your own

Set up Class Notebooks

For this class you will need 2 notebooks (composition/spiral)
One will be a general notebook for science notes/handouts and the other for a science journal

Grab a paper copy of the journal intake form from the back counter and complete.

What’s Your Story?--Part 2

Make sure you have completed part 1 BEFORE starting part 2
For part 2--review the class deck of slides for your class and choose one slide to focus on. Aim for someone you don’t know.
Directions
Using Padlet, identify 3 things you may have in common with the chosen person. Write a short response identifying those possible similarities.

For part 3--record a video on Flipgrid introducing yourself. Be sure to explain your slide in your introduction. Because you are recording, this will be hard to do in class.
