Artificer

An Artificer is a Blacksmith. He makes fuses, grenades, shells, weapons, etc. Carpenters and Commanders would buy the tools they made.

I am excited to do this job Because I can learn how to make different weapons and material.

BIBLIOTHECARY

A bibliothecary is a long name for a librarian. They worked in libraries and got payed about 40 dollars a year.

I’m excited to learn about librarians because I think it would be a strange experience and kind of fun.

confectionary

I am excited for this job because I am the biggest ice cream-aholic there is. I am also excited to see how this stuff is made. I am excited for the rate this stuff will sell at, if ice cream,poison, and medicine will really sell as much today or more.

A confectioner is a chef that specializes in candy and ice cream. A confectioner seems like a dream come true. But the art of confectionary takes alot of work and special training A confectioner can also make poison and medicene

Dog Breaker

A dog breaker is a person who trains dogs.

I am excited to learn about how to be a Dog Trainer because I like to be around dogs and puppies and I think it will be a fun experience.

Empresario

An Empresario is a person who does certain jobs for people and takes settlers from one place to another.In return they got land grants and power.

I am excited to learn to be an Empresario because I get to travel america and other places in the world.I can easily get land because I can charge land grants.

Forger

A Forger is a blacksmith. They forge things like swords and other things that are metal.

I am excited because you can make swords and cool things. You can make cool swords too. It would be a really awesome! Especially making cool stuff!

GAFFER

A Gaffer is the leader of a crew in construction sites. They also are tradesman of the construction site. He organizes the construction site. They also have a lot of experience with trading. They are also like the project managers.

I am excited to learn this because I would like to lead someone and that is what my job is.

Hawker

A hawker from Colonial times was a man or women who travels around the colonies selling goods and then buying more things to sell.

I am really excited to be a hawker because I really like to travel.

Intelligencer

An Intelligencer also known as a spy is someone who spys on the enemy to get information secretly.

I am excited about my job because Spy’s are stealthy and sneak into enemy territory and get classified information.

Jagger

A Jagger is a man who carries ores on a pack of horses from a mine to a smelter, it is also kinda like being a hawker except you work for a mine.

I’m excited to be a jagger because a jagger works in the mine and the mine is full of rare goods. that own lots of money.

keelman

my job is a keelman it’s a job were men sail through rivers transporting goods to other areas. i’m excited because i like sailing. and i’m also excited because i like going places where i haven’t been.

Knacker

A knacker is a person who buys old horses that can no longer be used (because they are dead and/or cannot work) and they sell the parts as new products. For example, the meat may be used for food for other animals, the bones can be made into bone meal fertilizer, and the hides were made into leather and/or sent to other companies to make glue.

I am excited to learn about being a knacker because I think it will teach me a lot about horses and how they are used after they are no longer able to work and/or die.

A leech is a doctor.

He helps people feel better and gives them medicine.

They are important because they provide medicine.

Merchant

A merchant is a store owner back in the day. They sold goods to people like food, drink, books and much more. They are baisicly the manager of the store, but they usally don’t have assistants.

I’m excited to learn how to be a merchant because I have always wanted to own a store. I always thought this job was so cool. So I picked this job because I thought it would be a cool experience to learn what it was like to be a merchant.

Nightwalker

A nightwalker is a watchman or a bellman, a bellman is a person who makes public announcements on the streets.

I am excited about this job because it is also called a watchman and I thought that would be a cool job to have.

OLITOR

A OLITOR is a person that is a kitchen gardener. They planted small gardens outside the homes the plants were used for medicines and spices.

I am excited to learn about this because I want to experience what it was like in the 1760.

Ordinary Keeper

An Ordinary Keeper is an innkeeper. That is an individual worker who

works at an inn (hotel) and is required to make the beds, give the meals and serve them. The innkeeper is supposed to run the hotel and make sure the people staying in the inn are comfortable, happy and full.

I am excited to learn about what an innkeeper does because I know what an innkeeper does now, in 2013, but I don”t know what an innkeeper did then. I also want to learn about this job because I think that for a job it would be a fun idea.

Perfume Maker and Seller

Perfume maker and seller is someone that sells perfume to women. Most women love it . Perfume makers’ make all different kinds of great smelling perfumes like “Play Do” and “Princess” .The perfume is great . So, if you like perfume the place to go is the perfume store.

I am excited to learn about this because the job seems very hard . A perfume maker and seller has a great job. I get to sell perfume to all the women in the area.

Quilter

I choose this because I wanted to learn about quilters and how they do there job and what they quilt onto the quilts.

A quilter is a person that makes clothes blankets and a lot more things.You use a needles and thread to make two or more layers we use a running stitch.

ROVER

A Rover is also named Archer or Bowman. A Rover is also a person that uses a bow and arrow. Rovers were important because the provided safety in the 1770s. I am excited to learn about rovers because i’ve heard about them and they sound cool.

A snobber is a shoe maker. They used leather and wood to make the shoes. All the shoe are custom fit. snobber works with another shoemaker.

Snobber

I’m excited to be a snobber because I have good ideas and I know what they do now. I think it would be fun to be a snobber.

Turnkey

The turnkey is a prison

warden. The prison warden supervises all of the people that work at the jail. Prison wardens have to feed, house, and clothe the prisoners. They are also responsible to provide health care, education, and psychiatric care.

I wanted to do this job because I like dealing with violence and I like caring for people. The only parts I would not like are clothing people

and educating people.

Upholder

The Upholder sells second hand alpinenses and is also a man called an

upholsterer. They sell

stuff that people don’t

want anymore and stop give it to an upholder

I am am excited to learn how to learn this because I get to see stuff I don’t have!

Vulcan

A Vulcan is like a blacksmith who creates objects with iron and steel. They use tools to hammer and bend and cut the metal to make the object they want. They produce objects like cooking utensils, weapons, tools, furniture and railings.

Watchman

Watchman is someone who stays awake all night and watches for any indian attack, fire or storm.

People are not allowed to stay up at night, Watchman try to make sure no one breaks that law.

I am excited to be Watchman because I can get people in trouble when they are up late and learn what goes on at night.

YEOMAN

A yeoman is a farmer who owns his own land. The usually own about 200 acres of land.

I am excited to learn about this because it will show me how different things are from 2013. I am also excited to raise crops and raise animals and learn about the life in the 1700’s.
