Take a STAR Assessment

Step One:

Click the link/tab on your school’s webpage labeled “Renaissance Place”

Or

Step Two:

Click - I’m a Student

Step Three:

  • Enter User Name and Password
  • Click Log In

Default User Name for most students:

  • first letter of first name followed by first 4 letters of last name: bpede

​

Default Password for most students:

  • student’s first and last name initials: bp

​

Step Four:

If it asks the student for a password to take the assessment, the password is admin

Complete the STAR Assessment

Information:

  • Average length is 20 minutes or less.
  • It will not show the student their score when they are done.

  • STAR assessments are computer adaptive - meaning it will adjust to each student’s unique responses.

​

  • STAR assessments are highly rated for screening by the NCRTI (National Center on Response to Intervention) and for progress monitoring by the NCII (National Center on Intensive Intervention).
