Giving lesson feedback

Hello Fifth Grade families,

Please don’t feel that your child has to complete all of the activities in the lesson. I would, however, appreciate it if you could connect in some way -- come to the Tuesday 11:30-12:30 Specialist Office Hours via Zoom, send a photo, video, voice memo, email message, help your child to fill out a Google Form etc. If you’d like to see previous lessons you can find them on the Nixon Music website. Thanks, Mrs. Dooley

LISTEN

Every country has a national anthem. You may have heard Canada’s national anthem which is called “Oh, Canada.” In the United States, our national anthem is called “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Let’s have a sing-off! Listen to three versions and think about what you like or don’t like about each one. Then vote for your favorite. Next week there will be three more choices. Open the Google Form to start.

The words to “The Star-Spangled Banner” were written by Francis Scott Key.
