Knooit is a cross-platform application that helps its users to get knowledgeable about their food, eating habits through different features, and help the community of users to reduce the food waste.

The users can navigate to a specific food item page where they can see all the item’s details, like:
Knooit will provides the users with all of the products nutrition facts (Calories, Minerals, Vitamins, ..etc).
Knooit will also enables the users to give away or trade the leftover food items.
Knooit will have a community of users with valued members who are verified nutrition experts.
Nutrition experts can posts reviews on the food items and Knooit will give their reviews a priority to appear first.
Based on Knooit reviews and experts ratings Knooit knowledge base will provides a recommendation for the users if the food item is safe to consume or not.
ScanMe
Knooit users can scans any food item, and Knooit will recognize the item and navigates the user to the item’s Reviews Page.
A machine-learning web-service will be responsible to recognize the food items and users will contribute in training its model by correcting food items information, and food experts will play a huge part of this!
Featured Items
Knooit will have a “Featured Items” page, where they can see a recommended food items sponsored by food manufacture companies and verified by the nutrition experts.
Knooit algorithm can certain food item for the users, based on the user’s medical health.
TrackMe
TrackMe will keep tracking of the users health.
Users can records their basic information along with their medical health records, (Alternatively Knooit can be integrated with Health Apps to get these information automatically).
Based on the user’s information Knooit will provides the users with recommendations on the Food items (Is it safe to consume, Does this item have many calories?).
Rewards
Engaging users will get rewarded with points, points can be collected by submitting reviews, correcting items information, scanning items.

Knooit Software Architecture
To the right is a simple Software Architecture diagram of how Knooit software infrastructure will look like.
There main application will be cloud hosted using Azure, with multiple connected web-services and API to manage the third-party services, admins dashboards and clients endpoints.
There will be also multiple databases (NoSQL and Cache-based).
.NET and Xamarin frameworks can be used to develop Knooit Client's applications and web services.
MetaVerse Experience
Unity 3D can be used to build the 3D models and using StereoKit framework we can bring the 3D models to our applications and the VR devices to allow the users using this in the VR World.
